This story is about an anonymous whistleblowers who claimed to be from the U.S. Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) and began leaking in November 2005 contents of an alleged 3,000-page secret document dating back to the 1970s relating to a secret 1965 alien exchange program, Project Serpo, which the U.S. government allegedly became involved in after the Roswell UFO incident.
Although the recipient of the body of information, Bill Ryan, later released a statement on March 5, 2007, that the story, allegedly leaked by clandestine CIA and DIA sources, was “a mixture of disinformation (i.e. truth mixed with added fictional elements) and naturally occurring compounded errors (such as uncorrected audiotape transcripts of the team commander’s logs),” he maintained that despite the “dirty tricks” and sinister motives of the government agents who orchestrated the leak, and inability to get a key witness (‘the old man”) reportedly a reserve Serpo astronaut to tell his story, they were able to verify the core truths of the story.
The essential facts of the alleged secret document were extracted from a series of emails sent to an online UFO discussion group organized by a UFO enthusiast, Victor Martinez.
According to the emails, one of six alien astronauts recovered by the U.S. government at the sites of the 1947 Roswell and Corona UFO crash incidents in New Mexico was a survivor called EBE 1, who helped the military to contact his people, the Ebe, natives of the planet Serpo in the Zeta Reticuli star system. Contact between the U.S. government and the Ebe`s led to a special exchange program in 1965.
Project Serpo, jointly funded by CIA, DIA, NASA, and the U.S. Air Force, involved 10 male and two female astronauts recruited from the military. Link
The official version of space history is that humankind have never ventured beyond the Moon on deep-space missions to other planets, and that the first manned space mission to another planet will be accomplished when NASA lands humans on planet Mars by 2030.
However, based on leaked information about alleged secret programs such as Project Serpo, members of the UFO community believe that the official version of space history was designed to conceal the truth about secret deep-space programs implemented with the assistance of technologically advanced alien races, and that through the programs, human astronauts have travelled to planets within our solar systems and beyond.
Of these programs, Project Serpo was probably the first, according to truth theorists. The human astronauts reached planet Serpo travelling in an alien spaceship. But they were unable to stay because they could not adapt to the Earth-like environment.
They found that the alien Ebe`s were a people with a population of about 650,000 living on a planet slightly smaller than Earth but exposed to higher radiation levels. They also lacked a strong central government and lived scattered in small communities with one large city central to their civilization.
According to the alleged secret files, in 1978, 13 years after commencement of the mission, eight astronauts returned to Earth, two died while two remained on Serpo for undisclosed reasons.
The eight that returned to Earth died soon after due to exposure to high levels of radiation during the interstellar trip.
Truth theorists claim that one of the legacies of the Project Serpo is the ongoing Space Radiation Superconducting Shield project (SR2S) to develop lightweight superconducting magnetic shielding systems that can protect astronauts from deadly radiation during extended deep-space voyages or during long stays on the surface of planets that do not provide the same protection from deadly radiation that Earth offers.
The thick atmosphere of the planet Earth and its magnetosphere protect us from exposure to deadly space radiation. Since the Apollo program, one of the biggest challenges that NASA planners have faced is developing optimum technology to protect humans from radiation during space voyages.
Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCR) and Solar Energetic Particles (SEP) are deadly in high doses and predispose to cancers in lower doses.
Project Serpo story is not the only alleged secret space program “leaked” by government agency insiders. Earlier in 1983, Linda Moulton-Howe, author and film-maker, was contacted by Richard Doty, who claimed that he had information about a secret alien exchange program involving three human astronauts who left for an alien planet from the Holloman Air Force Base in 1964.
Interestingly, Doty’s name was also mentioned in connection with the DIA sources of the Project Serpo story.
Truth theorists claim that the secret space program stories were leaked by people with privileged access to secret government space program files who felt that the public should know. However, these people often mixed the facts of the disclosures with fabricated details to protect the identities of people who were involved in the programs.
Others believe that Richard Doty is the front for a sinister disinformation program by the U.S. military and intelligence services, and that government agencies deliberately engaged in disinformation campaigns to distract the public from actual disclosures of government secrets.
But so far, nothing has emerged to lend credence to this baffling story. Until the time when actual, physical evidence about Project Serpo is released, we can only wonder!
